1: What is MKV?

MKV (Matroska Video) is an opensource alternative to existing containers and
aims to become the standard of the Multimedia Container Formats.
Matroska Video Files have much more features than the ogm format:

- Well documented portions, others in process.
- Purposely flexible design.
- Designed to hold any type of codec. (Audio, Video, Subtitle, etc)
- Chapters
- Tags
- AudioGain
- Menus (like DVDs have)
- Streamable
- Fast seeking in the file

Where can I find the output files after the conversion?

After the application shows "complete" for the conversion task, When the conversion is completed, the folder where you save the converted file automatically opens.if it doesn't open , please click "Open" button which can be found at the bottom of the main interface. You will reach the destination folder directly, from where you will find the output files for your conversion job.

After the conversion is finished, I hope your product that does not diminish quality, How can I improve it by certain settings?

Generally , the high quality can be effected by modifying "Video Size" and "Bit Rate". After you load the file into the program, you will be able to modify them on the right of the main interface. But in certain formats, there would be some limitations. And also, the output files would be in a larger size if you set higher values and want to get the peak quality.
